According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 Pakistanis (82%) believe it is important to have Parent Teacher Associations at schools.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people opine that there should be a Parent Teacher Association for communication between parents and teachers at schools, while others say such an association is not necessary. In your view, to what extent is such a communication body important or unimportant?” In response to this question, 45% said very important, 37% said somewhat important and 8% said not important at all. 10% did not know or did not wish to respond.
