Prime Minister Imran Khan convened the 42nd meeting of the Council of Common Interests on August 6, which will consider an eight-point agenda.
According to details, the 42nd CCI meeting has been convened on August 6. Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the meeting, which will be attended by four chief ministers, federal ministers, attorney general, and officials.
The CCI meeting will consider an eight-point agenda, including the issue of amending the OGRA Ordinance 2002, and the issue of control of the Lower Portion Chashma Canal in Punjab.
The meeting will consider the national-level strategy against the coronavirus while the annual report of the Council of Common Interests for 2017-18 will also be presented.
The meeting will present proposals in light of the decisions of the previous meeting on the issue of water in the provinces while the issue of amending the Minerals Act 1948 is on the agenda.
The meeting of the Council of Common Interests will review the implementation of decisions related to HEC after the 18th amendment, decisions related to public welfare and health, taxes, other important decisions including import of LNG and implementation of decisions of 41st meeting on 23rd December 2019.
