52% Pakistanis opine that a public holiday should be declared across the country on Iqbal Day.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 53% Pakistanis opine that a public holiday should be declared across the country on Iqbal Day.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Some people think that Iqbal Day should be a national holiday, while some think otherwise. What is your opinion?” In response, 52% said that a holiday should be given across the country, while 35% said no. 13% did not respond.
