ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appreciated the artists’ role in constructing the positive and promoting the culture and tolerance in the society.
PM Abbasi said this while talking to delegation of prominent artists including TV, film and drama actors and production. Premier assured the government will continue to support for the revival of film industry.
In the meeting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting, Chairman Central Board of Film Censor Mubashir Hassan and other officials were also present in the meeting which was held at PM office.
The delegation informed the PM regarding the problems that they are facing in the country in the revival of film industry in Pakistan.
On the occasion PM Abbasi directed the information ministry to include the charter of demand from the artist in the films and culture policy.
