4 in 5 Pakistanis (82%) agree to the claim that education grooms better human beings.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 Pakistanis (82%) agree to the claim that education grooms better human beings.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Suppose that Wasim and Akhtar are two friends who are discussing the effects of education on one’s character. Wasim believes that education grooms one into a better human being. Akthar believes that while education may provide better opportunities to earn it does not necessarily mold one into a better human being. Whose stance do you agree with, Wasim or Akhtar?” In response to this question, 82% said they agreed that education grooms one into a better human being, 16% said they agreed that while education may provide better opportunities to earn it does not necessarily mold one into a better human being, 2% did not know or wish to respond.
