According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, one third Pakistanis (33%) believe that people display helpful attitudes only to show off.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Keeping in mind the circumstances of today, do you think most people try to help each other or just show off?” In response to this question, 30% said they help each other, 33% said they only show off, 22% said depends upon the circumstances and 15% did not know or wish to respond.
