‘Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi’ earns Rs. 13 crore at the box-office

MUMBAI: Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is a sequel of 2016 blockbuster hit Happy Bhag Jayegi and it stars Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty, Jassie Gill and Jimmy Sheirgill in pivotal roles. The film had a slow start at the box-office with the opening day collections amounting to just Rs. 2.70 crore but positive reviews and a good word of mouth have definitely helped the film pick up some pace.

This Friday, two big films will hit the screens – Stree and Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phirr Se. So, with the release of these two highly anticipated films, it will be interesting to see whether Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi continues to keep its earnings consistent.
