SHEIKHUPURA: Police confirmed that a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Rescue 1122 personnel at Nankana Sahib.
The victim’s family told media persons that the 15-year-old girl, who was also mentally challenged, went missing. The family looked for her everywhere but found no trace.
They added that at around 1:30am, the family found a Rescue 1122 ambulance parked by the roadside for long time which looked suspicious and adding that they saw two personnel, who were later identified as Ahsan Ali and Shamim Haider, were assaulting the girl. When we raised hue and cry, the driver sped away the ambulance and threw the girl outside van near a sugar mill.
The police registered a case and arrested both the suspects.
