MUMBAI: Over the weekend, various stories of Parineeti Chopra walking out of Anurag Basu’s film, Life In A Metro’s sequel surfaced on the internet. While there was no official confirmation from the actress on the same earlier, Parineeti finally broke her silence on all such reports. Rubbishing all such rumours, Chopra took to her official Twitter handle and wrote, “Guys please don’t speculate on anything!! I will announce which film I am doing next myself. It is extremely disrespectful and bad PR for the makers of that film. I have not opted out of anything.”
While film’s male lead Abhishek Bachchan has already started shooting for the film, Parineeti is currently busy with Ekta Kapoor’s Jabariya Jodi, wherein she is paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra. After finishing the shoot of this film, she will start Dharma Productions’ Kesari with Akshay Kumar. Her reason of opting out from Anurag Basu’s film was reported to be ‘unavailability of dates’ because of her other film commitments.
