Pakistan fares low in use of public transport compared to regional counterparts and global average: 1 in 5 Pakistanis say they use public transport, average commuting time per workday in Pakistan is 1 hour 27 minutes, 11% Pakistanis report using a bus / minibus.

According to survey conducted by Dalia Research and released in Pakistan by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 20% Pakistanis use public transport, average commuting time per workday in Pakistan is 1 hour 27 minutes and 11% Pakistanis use a bus/ minibus to commute.

These interesting findings have emerged out of a 52 country research covering 75% of world population conducted by Dalia Research. The study comprised internationally of 43,034 respondents covering different ethnicities, regions, religions, age and gender.
