On legal advice: Of the Pakistanis or their relatives who have visited courts, the vast majority (83%) used the services of a lawyer, counselor, legal advisor, advocate or barrister.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, of the Pakistanis or their relatives who have visited courts, the vast majority (83%) used the services of a lawyer, counselor, legal advisor, advocate or barrister.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces who have either themselves visited the courts or had a close family member do so, was asked, “Please tell us whether you or your family member sought help from a lawyer, counselor, legal advisor, advocate or a barrister in this regard?” In response to this question, 83% said yes, 15% said no, while 2% did not know or did not wish to respond.
