According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, nearly 4 in 10 (38%) urban Pakistanis report using public transport frequently (daily or mostly).

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across urban areas of the four provinces was asked, “How often do you use public transport, such as a public bus, rickshaw, taxi or metrobus?” In response to this question, 12% said daily, 26% said mostly, 27% said sometimes, 31% said rarely, while 4% did not know or did not wish to respond.
