Horrific accident on highway leaves 14 including 5 of a family dead

A horrific accident on Zhob-Quetta highway left fourteen people including five of the same family dead and ten others injured. Levies officials said, over a dozen people including a woman and four children lost their lives in a head-on collision between a truck and a fast moving passenger flying coach near Ali Khail area on Zhob-Quetta highway late at night. The passenger coach was coming to Zhob while the truck was heading to Quetta. Four among the dead were from the same family in Killi Takei area.
According to officials, the dead and injured have been rushed to civil hospital Killa Saifullah, where the condition of some injured stated to be critical and they have been referred to Trauma Center in the provincial capital. The dead were identified as Hazrat Bilal, Dawood Shah, Asmat, Mir Hamza, Sheikh Ilyas and Khan Gul residents of Killi Takei, Badinzai and Zhob city. Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal and Advisor to CM Mitha Khan Kakar have expressed grief over the tragic incident and directed the authorities concerned to provide best medical facilities to the injured. Deadliest road accidents on Zhob-Quetta and Zhob-D.I Khan highways connecting Balochistan with Khyber Pashtoonkhwa are increasing with each passing day.
