Dozens of Taliban killed, detained in forces raids

LOGAR: The Afghan Special Forces killed or detained dozens of Taliban militants during separate raids conducted in Logar and Paktika.

The informed military sources said Tuesday that the Special Forces killed 27 Taliban militants during the operation in Pul-e Alam district of Logar.

The sources further added that the Special Forces also arrested 5 Taliban militants during the same raid.

Furthermore, the sources said the Special Forces killed 4 Taliban militants during a raid in Sharan district of Paktika. The Special Forces also destroyed a weapons cache during the operation.(Khaama Press)
