I want criminals to be terrified, says Priti Patel: Home Secretary to restore confidence in Britain

In her first interview as Home Secretary Ms Patel said: 'Offenders should be fearful of committing any criminal activities on our streets. I want them to feel terror at the thought of committing offences.'
