KARACHI: Convenor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) inaugurated the party’s main election cell on Saturday night North Nazimabad area of Karachi.
Senior leadership of MQM-P was also present on the occasion. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that those people who believe that the political party has been weakened would know the public’s decision on July 25.
He added that the result of general elections will surprise the political rivals and they will know the reality of Karachi and MQM-P politics after facing humiliating defeat in the polls.
Separately, some people staged a protest outside the party’s office, with the demonstrators lamenting that they were not provided with proper water supply or basic amenities and that no effort was made to remove garbage.
