Thin attendance in offices ahead of Eid

Thin attendance has been witnessed in the Government departments in provincial capital Peshawar on Monday as the people are all set to celebrate Eidul Fitr on Tuesday (June 4) on the verdict of Qasim Ali Khan mosque. Moreover, the non-local employees have already boarded for their native villages and towns on last working day as the Government has announced Eidul Fitr holidays from June 4 to 7. Mostly the local staff in the offices is in attendance looking after the workload of their colleagues who have proceeded to their native villages for Eid celebrations. The transporters have increased passengers fare for various destinations from Peshawar as exchange of heated words between passengers and drivers are being witnessed on transport stands.
The transporters are charging people’s as per their own sweet will by passing the Govt fare rate whereas the concerned authorities responsible for controlling the fare rate during Eid days
