Why Corona cases are reducing in the world

A joint study by Imperial College London and the University of Oxford has revealed that corona cases in different parts of the world are being reduced by maintaining social distance and taking precautionary measures.

Research has revealed that the reduction in corona cases in different countries of the world is not due to ‘herd immunity’, ie strengthening the immune system against the virus, but due to keeping social distance and taking precautionary measures.

The researchers included corona cases from various countries in Europe, North America and Asia.

Research has shown that the rate of infection in any country can only be reduced by following SOPs. Those countries who practiced strict social diastancing faced less loss of lives in this corona outbreak and social distancing is need of hour in order to avoid second wave of covid-19.
