The women’s national teams from the US, Germany and the Netherlands are in first, second and third place in the world ranking, respectively.

Swarms of locusts eat up hundreds of acres crops in Sukkur

F.P. Report

SUKKUR: Swarms of locusts have destroyed crops on hundreds of acres in Saleh Pat area of Sukkur quoting local farmers, revealed on Monday. Several swarms of locusts descended in the area and eat up standing cotton crop, vegetables and fodder for cattle in the area, local people complained.

Local farmers staged protest against inaction of the provincial agriculture department with regard to the attacks of locusts swarms in the area. The farmers are trying to get rid of the vegetation eating grasshoppers on self help basis after the agriculture department’s inaction over the matter.

“We worked hard for six months, spent thousands of rupees but the crops were destroyed (by the swarms of locusts)”, a farmer lamented. The government by conducting spray of insecticides could save us from further harm, local farmers said.

Earlier in this month, locusts, a specie of grasshoppers, reportedly eat up crops, grass and shrubs in some villages of Nagarparkar and Islamkottalukas of Thar region. Local villagers said the government officials had sprayed insecticides a few days ago, but the spray proved ineffective due to continuous rain in the areas. They demanded of the highups to send teams with required machinery for killing insects.

In June this year, swarms of locusts attacked cotton fields in Khairpur, Sukkur, and Ghotki. Farmers had to bear losses of hundreds of thousands of rupees due to crop loss in the attack. The crops were affected in Khairpur’sNaaro, Chondko, ThariMeerwah, Sukkur’sSaleh Pat, Thikrato, Mubarakpur and Ghotki’sKhanpurMahar, and Khangarh. The United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in first week of September warned that the situation relating to locusts in Pakistan was “most serious” as a second generation of the insect had been bred.

According to the FAO’s Locust Watch report, there remains a risk of further breeding, causing locust numbers to increase, with the possibility of swarm formation from late September onward. Yemen and India are also facing a similar situation, and the situation could deteriorate in Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Breeding will continue in Cholistan and Tharparkar deserts with another generation of hatching and the formation of hopper groups and perhaps a few small swarms forming by late September, the report said.

Greece steps up migrant transfers after Lesbos clashes

Monitoring Desk

LESBOS: Greece will keep moving asylum seekers from overcrowded camps on its islands to the mainland, government officials said on Monday, after a woman died following clashes and a fire at a refugee camp on the island of Lesbos. The violent clashes began at the Moria refugee camp on Sunday after a fire broke out inside a shipping container, one of the means Greek authorities use to house refugees. At least 17 people were hurt.

The migrant camp, the country’s biggest, is operating at almost four times its capacity. The charred remains of a woman were taken to hospital, the health ministry said in a statement. Reports of a second victim remained unconfirmed, officials said, adding that the cause of the fire was under investigation.

Deputy Citizen Protection Minister LefterisEconomou told reporters that 250 people would be transferred from Moria to the mainland by the end of Monday. The issue would be discussed during a cabinet meeting chaired by the prime minister, a government official said. About 12,000 migrants and refugees are holed up in Moria camp, a collection of tents and shipping containers, according to data released by the UNHCR, the U.N. refugee agency. The government aims to move at least 3,000 people from its islands to the mainland by the end of October, the official said.

Moving asylum seekers from island camps to the mainland is not a new policy. It was announced by the conservative government last month as part of measures intended to deal with a resurgence in refugee and migrant flows from neighboring Turkey. More than 9,000 people arrived in Greece in August, the highest number in the three years since the European Union and Ankara implemented a deal to shut off the Aegean migrant route. More than 8,000 people have arrived in September, according to the UNHCR. (Reuters)

Factory fire kills 19 in east China: Official

BEIJING (Agencies): A factory fire has killed 19 people in east China, local authorities said Monday, in the latest deadly incident to hit the country´s industrial sector. The fire broke out on Sunday at a factory in Ninghai county, eastern Zhejiang province, said the local government on its official Twitter-like Weibo account.

The incident, which is under investigation, occurred at a facility owned by the Ruiqi Daily Necessities Company. Among eight people rescued from the fire, three were injured and sent to hospital for medical treatment, said Ninghai authorities. It made for a deadly weekend in China ahead of the communist-led country´s 70th-anniversary celebrations on Tuesday.

A packed bus collided with a truck in eastern Jiangsu province on Saturday, killing 36 people. Industrial accidents are common in China, where safety regulations are often poorly enforced. In March, a blast at a chemical plant in eastern Jiangsu province killed 78 people and injured hundreds. Four months later in July, a huge explosion left 15 dead at a gas plant in central China. Last November, a truck carrying combustible chemicals exploded at the entrance of a chemical factory in Zhangjiakou, a northern Chinese city that will host the 2022 Winter Olympics, killing 23 people and injuring 22 others.

Kurz eyes economic growth after vote triumph

Monitoring Desk

VIENNA: Austrian conservative leader Sebastian Kurz basked in election victory on Monday, his People’s Party (OVP) strengthened by a parliamentary contest that punished the scandal-hit far right, although tough talks lie ahead on forming a ruling coalition. Sunday’s snap vote followed the collapse in May of Kurz’s coalition with the right-wing Freedom Party (FPO) after a video sting that forced FPO Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache to step down.

Kurz, 33, emerged largely unscathed from the uproar, with the OVP having its widest lead over the second-place Social Democrats in the post-war era. He now faces tortuous negotiations to choose one or two partners with which to govern. His most likely coalition choices are to ally with the resurgent Greens, possibly in a three-way tie-up with the liberal Neos, or link up again with the FPO.

But FPO leader Norbert Hofer called chances of a renewed alliance “very unlikely” given its poor showing on Sunday. Austrian voters’ top concern is the environment, surveys show, which helped lift the Greens to a record 14% of the vote from less than 4% in 2017, when they crashed out of parliament. A coalition with the Social Democrats is mathematically possible but unlikely under their current leadership.

Kurz is keeping his cards close to the chest, reiterating his mantra that he would talk to all other parties in parliament to seek a stable coalition. In an interview with broadcaster ORF aired on Monday, he said his priorities included fostering economic growth at a time of trade and political jitters. “We are just now seeing very negative economic developments in Germany, we have not solved Brexit, we have tensions in trade ties with the United States,” he said.

“The challenge for us will be securing good economic growth in the future as well and doing our utmost to keep unemployment in Austria from rising again. This is going to be a challenging phase.” Kurz’s OVP came a comfortable first, with 37.1% of the vote, according to a projection by pollster SORA for ORF based on a count of all but postal ballots.

The Social Democrats came second with 21.7%, their worst result since World War Two but still well ahead of the FPO on 16.1%. The projection had a margin of error of 0.7 percentage point. While the Greens could give Kurz a narrow majority, his party is wary of being at the mercy of a handful of its left-wing lawmakers. If he does ally with the Greens he might therefore seek a three-way deal including the liberal, pro-business Neos, who are on 7.8%.

It could take time for the Greens and Kurz to convince their supporters about working together. Many Greens voters see Kurz as their enemy since he brought the far right to power. Many of Kurz’s core voters, such as farmers and big business, are wary of the Greens. (Reuters)

Imran, Trump, Modi and Kashmir Puzzle

Iqbal Khan

US President Donald Trump urged India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24 to improve ties with Pakistan and “fulfil his promise to better the lives of the Kashmiri people,” the White House said after Trump-Modi meeting on the side-lines of the annual UN gathering. Earlier, talking to reporters at joint press conference with Modi before their bilateral meeting, Trump suggested Pakistan-India summit on Kashmir, expressing his optimism that the “good things” would happen when the “two great gentlemen” will meet. He said he believed that Prime Minister Imran and Prime Minister Modi would “get along when they get to know” each other. In a series of tweets after the meeting, India’s Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that Kashmir issue came up during the Trump-Modi meeting.

Tensions between India and Pakistan reached a feverish pitch on August 5, when New Delhi unilaterally annexed occupied Kashmir, revoking a constitutional guarantee that gave a special status to the disputed territory. A strict lockdown and communications blackout was imposed in the region that has snapped off ordinary people’s internet and mobile telephone service across occupied Kashmir. And when Trump and Imran met, crackdown had crossed its 50th day.  Trump was  asked about his opinion on the lockdown in IOK. Instead of answering the question put up by a Pakistani reporter, Trump started praising the journalist. “He is a good reporter. Where do you find these reporters?” he asked PM Imran.

While Imran Khan was still queuing up for a meeting with Trump, latter was hobnobbing with Modi in a 50,000 gathering in Houston and pledging to, jointly with India, counter Muslim extremism. He also announced the schedule for first ever joint tri-service military exercise with India.

According to ABC news, “Justice for All”, an interfaith human rights group, and its allies had organised a massive protest demonstration outside the Houston venue with protesters chanting “Go back Modi” and “Modi is a terrorist”.

Trump has once again reiterated his offer for mediation between Pakistan and India on the Kashmir dispute but emphasised that arbitration could not be carried out unless both the parties involved welcome it; what a useless offer it is, embedded with a non-starter, both by default and design. Avoiding to directly answer a question about UN resolutions on Kashmir, Trump emphasised that he is ready to play his role in South Asia if both India and Pakistan are willing.

Imran met Trump on September 23. PM explained Pakistan’s clear, categorical and firm stance on Kashmir. When asked if he was concerned about human rights violations in occupied Kashmir (IOK), Trump said, “Yes…I am, I want both sides to come to the negotiating table… I’d like to see everything work out. I want everybody to be treated well. There is always a solution and I do believe that there is a solution.” Trump added that he had heard a “very aggressive” statement from Modi on September 22, but “I hope they (Pakistan and India) are going to be able to come together and do something that’s really smart and good for both”.

Imran Khan, who has declared himself an ambassador of Kashmiris, spent most of his time out of seven-day visit to the US, briefing US lawmakers, scholars, human rights activists and media on the repercussions of the Indian annexation of the disputed Kashmir territories.  Premier met with the founder the Kashmir Study Group FarooqKathwari during which he urged Kathwari to continue informing the world about India’s illegal occupation and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir so that they could see the real face of Modi’s government.

The prime minister also met Amnesty International’s secretary General KomiNaidoo and discussed with him the dire human rights situation and ongoing humanitarian crisis in IoK. Naidoo briefed PM Imran on Amnesty’s advocacy work on Kashmir including its social media campaign captioned “#LetKashmirSpeak”. PM Imran appreciated the lead role that Amnesty was playing in presenting the real state of human rights in the occupied territory and amplifying the voices of the Kashmiri population in a state of perpetual lockdown. Premier also lauded Amnesty’s report on the use of pellet guns by India and their devastating impact on Kashmiri youth.

After it was confirmed that Trump would meet both Indian and Pakistani prime ministers, diplomatic observers in Washington had guessed the strong possibility that he may use the meetings to discuss the situation in Kashmir. About a week before meeting the two prime ministers, President Trump had told reporters at a White House briefing that “a lot of progress” has been made in defusing India-Pakistan tensions.  Trump’s recent comments on Kashmir and India-Pakistan relations have triggered speculations about direct or indirect dialogue between the two, with Washington playing the role of a facilitator.

The silver lining is that After PM Imran’s powerful presentation of Kashmir cause at the UNGA, the US has, at official level, urged India to ease restrictions on the people of IoK. However, Reuters has reported that: “Authorities in Indian Kashmir tightened restrictions on people’s movements to prevent possible protests… Soon after the speech, hundreds of Kashmiris came out of their homes, shouting slogans in support of Khan and calling for the independence of Kashmir”.

In the weeks since Kashmir’s lockdown, thousands of elected politicians, activists and trade unionists have been imprisoned or put under “house arrest”. Over 13000 young men, including minors, have been arrested in night raids by the police, with many transported to jails outside the IoK. World is all about money and power, unfortunately. Kashmir does not have oil or strategic significance. That is why it is not receiving much world attention.

Biodiversity, KP government’s greatest challenge

During a briefing, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan directed for the protection of wild life and biodiversity in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. He agreed in principle to launch a fund for this purpose with seed money of Rs.200 million. Because of the rapid population growth and unregulated urbanization, the conservation of wildlife and biodiversity has become a great challenge. The world was oblivious of the vital role of these two elements in sustaining ecological system until the first report of Russian Naturalist Nikolai Ivanovich Valvilov was published in which he highlighted and emphasised the importance of plants’ genetics resources. He classified the globe into six origin centers for biodiversity.

Ever since Pakistan came into being, Prime Minister Imran Khan was the only person who showed great passion and determination by addressing the alarming issue of deteriorating ecological balance in the country. He is agreat visionary but the decision makers who are directly involved to implement his vision have not succeeded to deliver on the protection of wild life and biodiversity. The major causes of wild life destruction are hunting and deforestation which wipe out the habitat of wild life animals. Many of the species of wild life have gone extinct and the remaining are at the verge of extinction. The solution to this problem lies in strictly implementing a policy of punishment and penalties and showing no leniency to the ones who play a leading role in merciless cutting of forests and hunting of wild life species facing the threat of extinction. Moreover, conducive environment has to be created for breeding and increasing the population of various species of wild life.

Rigid stance

Speaking at a press conference after JUI (F) district executive council meeting at DI Khan on Sunday, Maulana Fazlu Rehman described the popularly elected PTI led government illegitimate and liable to be sent home. He alleged that establishment is responsible for bringing this government to power but in the same breath he said that JUI (F) does not want confrontation with any state institution. He reiterated that his party decision about the million marches towards Islamabad is irreversible and vowed that neither a deal shall be made with the present government nor any space will be given to it.

It was Maulana Fazlu Rehman alone, who took the stance that the polls were rigged when the results of 2018 election were out. Other opposition parties including PML-N and PPP had accepted the verdict of the people which gave overwhelming mandate to ruling PTI. However, when the wheel of across-the-board accountability started running other opposition parties hinted at giving support to JUI (F) agitation politics. PPP Chairman Bilwal Bhutto Zardari hosted Iftar Dinner for the leaders of opposition parties and authorized MaulanaFazluRehman to call all Parties Conference to agree upon a protest plan outside parliament. Still conflicting signals are emanating from PML-N as to whether its President Shabaz Sharif is supportive of JUI (F) leadership inflexible stance or not. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured JUI (F) central Amir about his party active support in million marches towards Islamabad. It is indicative of observing double standards by PML-N leadership.

Rule of law, transparency and accountability are the basic fundamentals of true democracy and there can be no different sets of laws for the investigation and trial of the citizens of the country. Rule of law is equally applicable to common man and political elite. But on the contrary in Pakistan the opposition political parties are opposing, by and large, the across-the-board accountability process, bringing to justice the elite class by observing the rule law of law and ensuring transparency in the system of governance. It was the US that moved a resolution in the Paris meeting of FATF early last year seeking black-listing Pakistan for its weak anti-money laundering and counterterrorism financing regime. A short leash of three months was given to the previous PML-N government to make strong the anti-money laundering and counterterrorism financing regimes before formally putting Pakistan on the black list in June last year. Instead of putting their house in order former Interior Minister Ahsan termed it a conspiracy to destroy the so called fast growing economy of Pakistan, whereas his party government actually put the economy on fast downturn.

It is not only a misnomer but a matter of grave concern that because of the alleged involvement of ruling political elite, business tycoons and top bureaucrats the sole superpower of world, the United States has extended the scope of FATF scrutiny to the entire economy of Pakistan, including both formal and informal sectors. In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly 74th session, Prime Minister Imran Khan unmasked Indian design to push Pakistan from FATF grey list to black list.

In their protest rallies the JUI (F) and other political parties will try to capitalize on the issues pertaining to high price spiral, mass unemployment, worsening business environment and law and order situation. These issues are agitating the minds of the people. Hence, it is time that government focuses its maximum attention on these issues.

India committing state terrorism in Kashmir for last 30 years: Pakistan

F.P. Report

NEW YORK: Pakistan on Saturday submitted its right to reply in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in response to Indian remarks on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech.

First Secretary of the Indian External Affairs Ministry Vidisha Maitra while exercising her right to reply had said, “Rarely has the General Assembly witnessed such misuse, rather abuse, of an opportunity to reflect. Words matter in diplomacy. Invocation of phrases such as ‘pogrom’, ‘bloodbath’, ‘racial superiority’, ‘pick up the gun’ and ‘fight to the end’ reflect a medieval mindset and not a 21st-century vision.”

In response, Zulqarnain Chheena, a diplomat of the Pakistani mission, while exercising his right to reply said PM Imran had exposed the real cruel face of Indian state terrorism before the world community.

Chheena said India is committing state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the last thirty years.

He added the Indian government was carrying forward the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) agenda. “The killers of Mahatma Gandhi are now ruining the secular face of India in occupied Kashmir,” he asserted.

Chheena further said Pakistan arrested Indian spy Kulbushan Yadev who admitted involvement in various incidents of terrorism inside Pakistan.

He added, PM Imran in his speech to UNGA, highlighted Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and on minorities inside India.

PM Imran in his address to UNGA on Friday, heavily criticised Indian PM Narendra Modi and his party’s ultra-nationalist hardline style of governance.

The prime minister said that India ended the special status of occupied Kashmir, flouting 11 resolutions of the UN Security Council.

“It is the responsibility of the UN to ensure that Kashmiris get their right to self-determination,” PM Imran said.

“India must lift this inhuman curfew,” PM Imran said, adding, that ‘picked-up persons’ from the valley should be released by India.

Due to these issues, eight million people under lockdown in the valley are likely to get radicalised, he said.

US welcomes UN’s decision to allow JuD chief Hafiz Saeed to use bank account

F.P. Report

NEW YORK: The United States has welcomed United Nations Security Council’s (UNSC) decision to allow Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed to use his bank account for personal expenses, saying it shows that Islamabad is working towards accountability for its counter-terrorism efforts as part of its commitments at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

“It’s counter-intuitive, but this is actually a positive step,” US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice Wells said.

“Countries are required under the obligations of the listings that for any UN-designated individuals, you account for whatever money flow is permitted, such as the family expenses of Hafiz Saeed,” Wells said. “So actually having these submissions indicates a level of transparency and a key requirement of FATF.”

“We welcome this step,” she added.

Earlier this week, the UNSC allowed Saeed, to draw money from his bank account for basic expenses.

According to reports, Pakistan had approached UNSC with a request to let the JuD chief to use his bank account for personal expenses.

“The Chair has the honour to refer to his draft letter to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan communicating the Committee’s decision with respect to the intention of the Pakistani authorities to authorize certain expenditures to the benefit of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed to cover basic expenses,” a note by the chair said.

Reports further said UN has allowed Saeed to withdraw approximately $1,000 to cover necessary basic living expenses for him and his family.

On July 17, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested Saeed while he was travelling from Gujranwala from Lahore. He was taken into custody as part of the government’s crackdown against banned organizations under the National Action Plan.

Land ‘occupied’ by Sharif family recovered

F.P. Report

LAHOREPunjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Saturday said it has recovered around 36 kanals of government land in Sahiwal illegally occupied by the Ittefaq Sugar Mills, a factory owned by the family of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, for the last 37 years.

The revenue department has estimated the value of the land at Rs22.5 million.

ACE Sahiwal Regional Director Shafaqat Ullah told The Express Tribune that contrary to the traditional method of waiting for a complaint to be filed before the anti-graft body took action, they used different sources to identify illegally occupied lands on the orders of the new ACE chief Gohar Nafees.

A few days back, he added, the ACE was informed by a source that the Ittefaq Sugar Mills was illegally possessing 36 kanals of government land since 1982.

He assigned the ACE Pakpattan circle officer to examine the records of the revenue department and took up the matter with the Pakpattan assistant commissioner and the revenue field staff.

The information was verified after a thorough examination of the records.

Later, Pakpattan assistant commissioner ordered that state land be vacated under Sections 32 and 34 of the Colonisation Act on September 28.

On Saturday, a team comprising ACE, revenue department and police officials went to the site and found that 16 kanals of the occupied land was vacant but stores and a laboratory had been built on the remaining 20 kanals.

However, they were partially demolished because the mills had been shifted to Rahim Yar Khan.

The occupants were unable to present any document including a stay order to justify their possession of the land, which was later handed over to the revenue department.  “It is also worth mentioning that no rent has been paid since 1982 and that amount would be in billions,” Shafaqat Ullah added.

The location of the mills is very important as it is situated on Pakpattan Road in Sahiwal.

“I have ordered an inquiry into why the revenue department remained silent over this illegal possession of land and why there was no assessment of the lagan and its payment,” he added. The official further said the recovery of the land was part of the ACE’s crackdown on land grabbers in Sahiwal.

A few days ago, the ACE Sahiwal recovered a public park occupied by land grabbers. The land measuring six kanals and 11 marlas is valued at Rs327.5 million. The land was designated for Kanaan Park in Sahiwal. However, land grabbers were illegally using it as a private taxi stand.

Pakistan ranked 15th most powerful military in world

The Pakistan military has been ranked as the 15th most powerful military by Global Firepower’s 2019 Military Strength Ranking

According to the rankings, the three most powerful militaries in the world are United States, Russia and China followed by India, France, Japan, South Korea and United Kingdom.

Global Firepower ranks the militaries of 137 countries by giving weightage to a complex number of factors and not just sheer numbers of soldiers or weapons. It looks at a large number of different criteria, including the diversity of each country’s weapons, manpower, population, geography and its state of development. While it gives bonus points to countries with nuclear weapons, it does not factor in their nuclear stockpiles in the final score. While landlocked countries are not penalised for not having navies, countries that do have navies but their fleets lack diversity are penalised.

The Global Firepower ranking utilises over 55 factors to determine a country’s PowerIndex score. The formula allows smaller, more technologically advanced countries to compete with larger, less developed ones. A perfect PowerIndex score is 0.0000, which is realistically unattainable. The closer countries are to that number, the more powerful their military is. For example, the Power Index rating for the US is 0.0615. For Pakistan, the figure stands at 0.2798 and for India, it is 0.1065.

According to the ranking, Pakistan has an estimated total of 1,204,000 military personnel, total aircraft strength of 1342 (ranked 7th out of 137), 348 fighter aircraft, 197 total naval assets and a defence budget of $7billion. India, meanwhile, has an estimated 3,462,500 military personnel, a total aircraft strength of 2082 (4th out of 137), 4,184 combat tanks, 295 total naval assets and one aircraft carrier. India’s defence budget is $55.2billion.

The three countries with the least powerful armies, according to the ranking, are Bhutan, Liberia and Suriname, which rank 137, 136 and 135 respectively.

An Open Letter to People and Governments of US, UK, France and Germany

Brigadier (R) Dr. Ahsan ur Rahman Khan

I am a retired Army officer, war veteran, post-retirement PhD, post-PhD visiting teaching faculty of universities, and a keen student of history, behaviour pattern of people, and current affairs. I am aware of the history of your nations. I visited your countries during the decades of 1980-1990, keenly re-evaluating my book knowledge while inter-acting with your officialdom and public.

I am writing to you because your nations, including your governments, claim to take pride in upholding the human values. Let me inform you that in the decades of 1950-1960 people in my country respected your nations for that. However, since many years now you are allowing your governments, elected by you, to openly sell human values for economic, strategic and financial benefits. The extremely inhuman war mongering and military aggressions of US in different parts of the world, submissively supported by European governments, spreading widespread human calamities in target countries, surely presents a very negative picture of the national character.

And worst is happening now. Your governments are acting spineless to act against India’s RSS/BJP Modi government’s actions  of contemptuously refusing to abide by the existing United Nation Security Council’s Resolution giving the right of self-determination to people of Kashmir to decide their affiliation through plebiscite; and then, for over 50 days by now completely locking down Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) under curfew, blocking all means of communication; as also the extremely inhuman treatment meted out to the Muslim majority citizen of IOK including night raids to torture and kidnap/arrest thousands of boys and men, raping women, and denying them access to medical and food facilities, etc  all these are being reported by world media. But what the governments elected by you are doing  just meekly showing concern’, even by the government of US which is otherwise too quick on clamping stringent sanctions on the non-pliant countries. Reasons for such dismaying response of your governments to Indian government’s grave violations of human rights are now well-known  US’ president has even gone to the extent of joining hands with Modi in his public meeting in Houston to earn the goodwill of Indian-American vote bank for his 2020 election; Mr. Macron’s French government is to earn in billions by selling Rafale jet fighters to India; UK and German governments also have their interests with India.

Don’t you know that the target of Dharm Jagran Samiti (DJS) movement of Indian militant party RSS, as declared by its leader Rajeshwar Singh in 2014, is to compel the Muslims and Christians in India either to convert to Hindu religion or otherwise be finished by 31 December 2021. You may read it in UK’s Daily Mail of 19 December 2014—-https://www.dailymail.co.uk/indiahome/article-2879597/We-free-India-Muslims-Christians-2021-DJS-leader-wows-continue-ghar-wapsi-plans-restore-Hindu-glory.htm,—– or watch RSS leader Rajeshwar Singh announcing that target in youtube ——- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTGZ0MdWbxI—— Don’t you know that Modi is an old member of RSS?

Knowing all these facts, if you as a nation and your chosen governments are still not prepared to compel India’s RSS/BJP Modi government to revoke such grave oppression of IOK Muslims, and are rather trying to earn Modi government’s friendship for your own interests, then I leave you to ponder upon the following verses of Holy Bible:-

“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4.

Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.” (Context: This is one of Jesus’ various teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. This same quote also appears in Luke 16:13.)
