Shehbaz Sharif rejects any kind of support to Reham for her upcoming book

F.P. Report

LAHORE: President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Shehbaz Sharif has rejected all the blames of supporting financially Reham Khan for her upcoming book which created uproar in Pakistani politics.

This he said while talking to private news channel on Saturday. He said that it is totally baseless allegations against him for supporting Reham Khan, former wife of Imran Khan for her book with the aim to use against the PTI chief.

Former CM Punjab added that he only met Reham once in his whole life when she interviewed me during the 2014 sit-ins and never after that.

He said that it is very unfortunate and funny that Imran Khan claiming that Shahbaz Sharif had given Rs 27 billion to Reham through Javed Sadiq for writing book against him and adding that the second allegation he has leveled against me is that I offered him Rs10 billion to keep silent on the Panama Papers case.

He continued that Imran’s third allegation against me is that I took Rs1-2 billion in commission in Multan Metro Bus project through partnership with a Chinese company.

PML-N Chief said that he sent legal notices to Imran following each allegation but as always neither he nor his counsel ever appeared for any of the cases.
